This special release was matured in a European Oak ex-sherry butt, with the cask initially stored on Islay, until it was laid down to finish maturing in the vaults at Duncan Taylor’s HQ in Aberdeenshire in 2010. And at 52.4% the profiles of treacle toffee and stewed fruits shine with that whisper of peat. Not only is this an incredibly rare whisky that has garnered praise from numerous industry experts, it too is a special piece for any appreciator of fine spirits!
