PALATE: Honey, mature fruit and fine oak

SPECIALTIES: Elegance personified: straight or in cocktails Inviting nose with hints of honey with a touch of fudge. Deep, rich, full flavored mouth with smooth flow and fine oak texture. Fairly soft in the mouth with soft flows across the palate. Long, well sustained finish containing hints of honey and ripe fruit with fine floral notes.

Deep copper color; superb purity. Lots of leather/men’s club/ library scents abound in the opening whiffs here; additional exposure to air brings out a fiber/textiles like dryness, but no fruit or wood to speak of. Entry features vanilla from the oak and  marzipan; midpalate highlights the bakery/ confectioner sweetness. Aftertaste is woody and astringent.
