Through his illustrious career Sir Nick Faldo won three British Open Championships and three Masters Championships; and held the number one rank in world golf for ninety seven weeks. “This limited edition Black Bull 30 Year Old holds a particularly special place in my heart, both honouring my thirty wins on the European tour, and marking thirty years since winning my third British Open title at Muirfield in 1992. It was in that same year that the youngest spirit in this blend began a distinguished maturation, worthy of this legendary Black Bull blended Scotch whisky which I am proud to share with you!"
As for the blend itself, it is made up of casks of malt whisky from some of the most prestigious distilleries in Scotland, and rare old grains, all carefully selected by then Chairman Euan C. Shand. They have been matured for a minimum of thirty years, culminating in a rare premium blend laden with rich fruit cake topped with almonds and subtle spices.
