Enmore distillery closed in 1993. Its legendary wooden coffey still was relocated to Diamond distillery, where it continues to produce rum today — but rum distilled at the original Enmore site no longer exists. Except in casks like this one.

Distilled in 1990 at Enmore in Guyana and matured for 27 years, this single cask expression represents one of the last opportunities to taste what Enmore produced at its source. Bottled at its natural cask strength of 52.8% with no artificial coloring, no added flavoring, and no chill filtration, it is an authentic and irreplaceable piece of rum history.

Tasting Notes

Color: Soft gold

Nose: Sugared lemon zest.

Palate: White pepper and sherbet with dark chocolate notes.

Finish: Honey and orange peel.

How to Drink It

Neat: The only appropriate way — allow it time in the glass to reveal its full depth.

With Water: A few drops open up the lemon zest and honey notes.
