A limited single cask release from Duncan Taylor's acclaimed Octave series, featuring Dalmunach — one of Scotland's newest distilleries, opened in 2015.

Distilled in 2016 at Dalmunach and matured for 8 years, this Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky was finished in Octave cask #10845633 — approximately one-eighth the size of a traditional butt. The smaller cask increases interaction between the whisky and the wood, adding richness, balance, and complexity while allowing this young distillery's character to shine through.

Bottled at its natural 55.2% cask strength with no chill filtration and no added color, this is a rare early expression from a distillery that whisky enthusiasts are only beginning to discover.

Tasting Notes
