Distilled in 2009 at North British and matured for 15 years, this Single Grain Scotch Whisky was finished in Octave cask #5943439 — an ex-Caol Ila cask, approximately one-eighth the size of a traditional butt. The smaller cask increases interaction between the whisky and the wood, adding richness, balance, and complexity while preserving the grain whisky's natural character. The ex-Caol Ila provenance adds a subtle layer of history to every pour.
