Storywood Reposado Tequila

Storywood is a range of super premium and multi-award winning sipping tequilas, and the only tequilas fully matured in single malt whisky barrels in the world. To understand the brand you first have to understand the creator. Michael Ballantye – Scotland born, Texas raised, chef by heart and whisky lover through and through – is as unique as the tequila he produces.

In 2015 he moved to spend more time with his mother in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where his love for agave spirits began. A chance encounter with master distiller Luis Trejo, La Cofradia, kickstarted a commitment to bringing two national spirits together as one to embody the Heart of Mexico and Soul of Scotland.

Serving suggestion - Ginger Beer, Coca Cola, or Irn Bru.
Served in a tall glass with ice and a lime wedge!

Tasting Notes:

Caramel, oak, vanilla and honey on an earthy agave base.
