Bowmore 1982 is one of the most celebrated vintages in Islay whisky history. Distilled when the distillery was at its creative peak, these casks are now irreplaceable — and this is one of the last.

Founded in 1779, Bowmore is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, and its 1980s expressions are legendary among collectors for their balance of coastal peat, medicinal depth, and tropical fruit. This single cask was distilled in 1982 and matured for 31 years before being selected for the Duncan Taylor Tantalus — a collection reserved for Scotland's most exceptional whiskies aged 30 years or more.

Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration, and without added color, this release is presented in a hand-blown glass decanter housed in an elegant Tantalus crafted from the very oak casks that matured the whisky. Exclusively designed for Duncan Taylor.

Nose: Faint peat, medicinal, hint of pepper.
